A landspeeder is any type of surface transport vehicle that employs a repulsorlift propulsion engine. Even when parked, a landspeeder remains suspended about a meter off the ground as an aftereffect of the repulsor field generated by the engine.
The most popular landspeeders currently on the market today include Bespin Motors Void Spider TX-3, the Ubrickkian 9000 Z001, the Mobquet Deluxe, and the new SoroSuub XP-38. Landspeeders are sometimes referred to as floaters or skimmers.
